Mr. Jakes Xulu

Mr. Jakes Xulu is an accomplished Business Executive and Entrepreneur with more than 30 years experience at Executive level management and leadership.

Mr. Xulu started his career in the banking industry, with specialisation in credit control and asset finance. He moved on to establish his own financial services business and has since diversified into other economic sectors.

Currently, Mr. Xulu is the Executive Chairman of JSX Investments (Pty) Ltd. The company is a diversified holding company with interest in eight established industries which are, Property. Financial Services. Transport. Information Communication Technology, Manufacturing. Infrastructure development, Resources and Agriculture.

Mr. Xulu's involvement in these companies is through active directorship and shareholder oversight and value creation.

 

 

Adv. Mtho Xulu

Mtho Xulu goes by many titles: Advocate, Entrepreneur and Business leader.

 

As the President of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI), Advocate Xulu is passionate about innovation and excellence in service whilst also being fiercely committed towards the creation of sustainable wealth.

 

Adv. Mtho Xulu holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from UNISA and prides himself on attaining this qualification by means of a distance learning programme. The latter diverts from the traditional norm of lectures, tutorials or academic consultations. Having honed his skills in terms of discipline, self-reliance and independent thinking, he is currently in the process of concluding a Masters of Law (LLM) degree. His areas of specialisation include Commercial Law and Corporate Governance.

 

After completing his LLB degree, Mtho was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa in 2011. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA), a Director of the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), a director of Business Unity South Africa, President  of the South African Commerce and Industry, and a member of the BRICS Business Council Deregulation Working Group.

 

As a successful entrepreneur, Advocate Xulu is the founding CEO and Head of JSX Investments (Pty) Ltd. JSX Investments is an investment holdings company with interests in several sectors, including: JSX Properties (property investment and development), DDP Valuers (property valuation and advisory), Gautrain/SPG (integrated transport), African Cables (industrial cables manufacturing), MaxProf (revenue management and advisory), NASHUA Mpumalanga and Lowveld (integrated ICT solutions), Radon Projects (construction), Endemic Developments (landscaping and horticulture) as well as Kunolwazi Resources (mining and energy).

 

Ms. Zamakhathini Xulu

Ms. Zamakhathini Xulu is a young, dynamic and hard working business woman who represents the future of the African business landscape. She holds two Science degrees from the University of Pretoria and is currently studying towards a Masters in Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.

 

Ms Xulu is a critical thinker and a young entrepreneur who understands the new age business dynamics. She advises the board, investee companies and clients on new industries and markets that are complementary to these current business dynamics and helps develop strategies for sustainable business growth.
